2. Horseback Rides Through the East Texas Woods
Our guided trail rides take you deep into the Piney Woods, past oak groves, around Dream Lake, and through open meadows where deer often wander by. Each horse has its own personality, and you’ll likely find a favorite by the end of your stay.
3. Campfires and Starry Nights
There’s something special about a night under the Texas sky. Light a fire at your private pit, roast marshmallows, and let the sound of silence and laughter with family fill the air. On clear nights, you’ll see more stars than you ever thought possible.
4. Adventures on the Water
Paddle across Deer Lake or Dream Lake by kayak or paddle board, cast a line from your private dock, or simply float with the sun on your face. The water is quiet, calm, and perfect for both early risers and slow afternoons. Being on Dream Lake or Deer Lake at sunset is a must see.
5. Real Ranch Life
From friendly horses near the trio of red barns, to our best boy Blue, life here runs at a ranch pace, slow enough to notice the good stuff and adventurous enough to build the best memories. You might catch a farrier at work, see Mr. Johnny caring and feeding all of our farm animals, or watch Cowboy Jake saddle up the trail horses at the old barn before a ride. Be sure and rent one of our fun, memory building UTV’s and see all the ranch things. Blue may just hop in with you… shotgun of course!
